Exercise book with rules and equations to solve geometry and trigonometry problems and to find latitude and longitude. Includes watercolor drawings of sailors using sextants, and of ships such as the Canton, the United States, and the Constitution. The end of the volume is used for a journal of a voyage from London to Madeira, April 1799.
